Looked outside this morning and the sun was shining of some windows, I thought about light entering the rooms gradually and crating shadows too. There is an improvisation technique I learned from the Totnes School of Piano that says pick a phrase and play notes to match the syllables and the rhythm that you might use to say it.
Because of the windows I thought the line in Romeo and Juliet -
'But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks?'
